Is Asbestos Training a Legal Responsibility?
Under Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012), employers are required to provide adequate information, instruction, and training to all employees who may be exposed to asbestos, as well as to those who supervise these employees. Importantly, the training must be delivered by a competent person.
