Alongside these, we provide expert support to a range of property specialists such as building surveyors, architects and planning supervisors and provide services at a local level. Thames Laboratories is proud to be UKAS Accredited for its range of asbestos services and BRE Certificated for its fire inspection services. The company is completely independent and has no commercial links to any organisation involved in asbestos or fire remediation.
With over 30 years of experience within the asbestos industry, John acts as an external advisor to both the British Government and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. John sits on HSE’s ASbestos Liaison Group and HSE’s ASbestos Partnership Group representing the RICS along with UKAS Technical Advisory Committee.
Andrew joined us in 2002 as an asbestos analyst and has since progressed within the business. He has extensive practical experience within asbestos surveying, asbestos management and analytical testing. Andrew has worked with a great number of clients including the British Government, Charity Trusts, and Housing Associations.
Regional Manager – South
Richard is responsible for the planning of contracted works and liaising with clients in order to ensure contract deliverables are managed and fulfilled to the highers of standards. Richard has also acted as an external asbestos advisor to a number of large housing associations.
Steph has now been with Thames for 11 years and is responsible for the running of the accounts departments and takes on additional HR responsibilities when there is a requirement.
Zeynep is responsible for day to day running of national contracts, liaising with clients, the planning and monitoring of works, management of administration staff and liaising with Project Managers and Directors to ensure client satisfaction and contract delivery.
Quality Manager and Environmental Consultant
Vicky is responsible for ensuring all works completed by Thames are up to the standard that is expected firstly by the legislative bodies, and secondly by the company.

Tim has over 20 years experience in asbestos consultancy. Having worked with clients in all sectors including Local Authority, Higher Education, Retail, Utilities and Heavy Industry enabling him to provide pragmatic solutions and advice.
